Bekah was born in Tucson, Arizona on May 31, 1990. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and her kind heart. Her first smile appeared at 6 weeks of age and she continued to smile at even total strangers throughout her life. When told at age 4, do not talk to strangers, she promptly walked up to the next person and asked "are you a stranger?", and that was the personality that stayed with her.
Bekah developed seizures starting at the age of 7. She always referred to them as "blank outs", because she had no memory of them afterwards. She also was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, but unlike what is characteristic for this diagnosis she was very outgoing and loved to socialize.
Rebekah endured much taunting at school and beyond due to misunderstandings about her. Despite this she had many friends who loved her just for her. She never held a grudge toward anyone.
Rebekah proudly graduated from Ceinega High School in May of 2008. She loved to sing and it was her dream to become a singer. She was excited at the age of 21 to finally get an apartment of her own. Unfortunately she would only live on her own for 8 short months before losing her life to a seizure on July 8th of j2012.
While I am still heartbroken to have lost my precious girl, I am thankful to God to have been blessed with the gift of knowing her and being her mom for 22 years. I live for the joy of seeing her again in Heaven, but meanwhile, If I can prevent just one person from having to go through this heartbreak it will have been worth in.
